an oversimplified bio:

At the University of South Carolina, I wrote my Honors College Thesis on environmentally sustainable initiatives in live entertainment. I researched how venues across the globe were embracing zero waste culture and renewable energy. TLDR: the industry still has a long way to go.

As an intern with the SC Department of Commerce, I managed a multimedia marketing campaign creating awareness about the jobs and people in the recycling industry. I used my experience as a DJ at WUSC-FM to broadcast sustainability messaging and amplify community voices.

For the first few years of my career, I traveled around the country implementing zero waste systems and nonprofit advocacy zones at music festivals and large scale events. The pandemic sure did change things for my career, but my passion remained the same: sustainability, but make it pop culture.

I traded my flight miles for a daily commute in NYC, splitting my years between private event sales for a rooftop farm in the summer and partnerships for a film festival in the winter. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about myself through my various roles, it’s that I genuinely enjoy coaching brands to dig deeper in the event planning process to build lasting, sustainable relationships with attendees and inspire action for social causes.
